Participate in This Year’s Pink Ribbon Walk & Run

Join the fight against breast cancer by participating in this year’s Pink Ribbon Walk & Run.

This Mother’s Day, Sunday May 13, 2018, the Breast Cancer Coalition will host its Pink Ribbon Walk & Run to raise money to support its breast cancer education and support programs. Interested in joining the fight against breast cancer? Consider participating in this fun and meaningful event.

The Pink Ribbon Walk & Run is made up of two events; a walk that is open to all men, women, and children, and a women’s only 5K race. The walk will begin at 9:00 AM and the 5K will begin at 9:30 AM. The awards ceremony for the Pink Ribbon Run will take place at 10:30 AM.

Registration for the event is $25 for those registering by May 12th. Registration will be $35 for those who register on the day of the event. The registration fee will be waived for any participant that has raised more than $50 with their fundraising efforts. Survivors participating in the event will receive a dark pink bandana while supporters will receive a light pink one. Additionally, refreshments will be served following both the walk and run events.

The Pink Ribbon Walk & Run will take place at Genesee Valley Park, Roadhouse Pavilion in Rochester, New York. Parking for the event will be available in the two lots adjacent to the park (off Elmwood Ave or Kendrick Road). Signs will be posted to direct cars to the designated lots. Additionally, there will be shuttle parking for the event available at Marketplace Mall in the north lot off of Jefferson Road and Hylan Drive. Shuttles will begin loading at 7:00 AM and the last shuttle will depart at 8:15 AM.
